That configuration is a steal. When you get to the page you might look for a tab to pick the GPU. You won't find it. You have to change the CPU to change the GPU.

YMMV: TIP have everything set up in your cart. Sit on it for a few hours. Close the window for another hour or so. Eventually HP will take off another $60. Using id.me I got $55 off as well. 1% CB from your favorite CB site. It helps.

I got this one for a little under $1600:

I know it's more expensive, but it is 100% a Max P 3070 with 16 GB of 3200 RAM, and a 5800H... and it's not HP. Don't have many good experiences with HP.

Very few so far, probably those which placed the order yesterday rather than the day the deal was posted. Some maybe due to payment issues as well.

Keeping track of a possible cut off time here for everybody. Would be good to share!

My order was placed at around 1AM PST on March 1st. Payment is no longer pending and has been posted. No cancellation yet.

EDIT: Order was for a 3070 as well.

Again, general rule in SD is don't contact seller for pricing error that favor you. In this case, did HP make any public statement they WILL cancel ALL order? If they haven't, then may be they will honor them like Amazon and other big company for certain pricing error (like instead of make couple hundred dollar profit, make just a little bit profit, etc). You contract them may get your order cancel by the CSR even though they may plan to honor some of the orders (especially those that already sent to the factory and being made right now).

I hope HP does the right thing and honors the orders. I work for a company whose yearly profits are a rounding error to HP, and when we've made pricing mistakes that caused a huge loss, we owned up to our mistake and honored the pricing. (That was a shitty Monday.)

Anyway, much as I hope they do the right thing, there's no way even the first orders with customizations are "already being built by the factory" - that's not how production works when systems have an etd a month out.
