That configuration is a steal. When you get to the page you might look for a tab to pick the GPU. You won't find it. You have to change the CPU to change the GPU.

YMMV: TIP have everything set up in your cart. Sit on it for a few hours. Close the window for another hour or so. Eventually HP will take off another $60. Using id.me I got $55 off as well. 1% CB from your favorite CB site. It helps.

I got this one for a little under $1600:

I know it's more expensive, but it is 100% a Max P 3070 with 16 GB of 3200 RAM, and a 5800H... and it's not HP. Don't have many good experiences with HP.

No coupon? You may have to try and complain to support. The coupon should come at the same time as the cancellation

It's still there. The price changes to $0.00. You can still see your customized options. I don't see a product image though. It also says "Cancelled." That's it. Game over man.

Just got an email on a refund from paypal and one from hp about cancelling. I only bumped the option up to the 5800h and 3070, but I'll take this as a sign I shouldn't go with HP anyways. (Not had good history with their products and hesitated on this to begin with.)

Mine cancelled as well (5800h 3070). I asked the CSR for HP to compensate 15% for me to restock my credit card but I haven't heard back. I somewhat suspect that my request will be cancelled as well.

I think that was still a solid deal if you need the new Ryzen 5 CPU... but keep in mind it is not that different in gaming performance from last year's Rtx 2060 2070mq laptops which also ran between $650( Gateway) and $1300 (Dell,MSI, Legion5,Aurous, Asus). BestBuy will probably sell the 3060 HP model again at this same price in summer during back to school shopping.

The best 3060 deal may be that MSI i5 model for $1000 at BB since there might be a way to get a higher tdp wattage bios mod, but stock 75watt is also ok comparable to rtx 2060/2070...Savings of $150 vs this but a little worse cpu.

That's really disappointing to see this hp 3070 get cancelled.Frown.
I didn't buy this but always hope to see deals like this so it gives us hope for future deals coming back close to this...

Now we probably won't see a legitimate Rtx 3070 laptop for $1300 or less until Black friday/Dec holidays or next year's clearance making room for Intel 12th gen/ryzen 6000 laptops yada yada yada..

Exactly the same for me. I couldn't pass up pulling the trigger, but I'm not all that devastated about it getting cancelled.

I'm not sure if this is good news, for me at least. But they still haven't cancelled my order and they changed my original shipping date from March 29 to April 1. Unless this is going to turn out to be an elaborate April fool's day joke.
