Exactly! I booked already and HNL to LGB went down from $139 to $99, so I "changed flights" (selected the same flight) and got $40 back as travel credit. Pretty sure $99 is the current floor for HNL <--> Los Angeles Area and doubt it'll get any cheaper than that.

Keep looking. I think you're right, but I was able to get SJC-OGG for under $160 RT last month. Not much of a difference, though.

I have LGB-HNL pending for April after pushing it out from March, hoping they'll accept vaccines instead of testing. Rumor says they might change the rules on 4/15.

I was planning to fly out of SD to HNL but saw there's COVID testing at LGB for $20. Might just change my plans. Have any of you used the testing there? Never flown out of there personally

Many places offer testing - last time I flew on business was BDL to TPA last month - testing at both airports, although TPA closed early (like 1:30pm??!????). Got back to BDL and took a test (don't have to.... essential and all), had results within 24 hours.

Just rebooked my mom's flight that I booked just a few days ago.
Flight is cheaper now so I will use credit for a future flight.
Thanks!

LGB is nice and easy. I use it frequently instead of John Wayne.
