Slightly off topic but I've had really bad after taste using these consumer brands toothpaste after waking up in the morning. ( I do floss as well, not the morning breath either). However, I started using the natural toothpaste from Trader Joe's, and never had any of the side effects I've mentioned before. To compare, it seems like the consumer brands put artifical sweeteners in the toothpaste themselves to make it taste better. But for proper hygiene, you do not want sugars in your mouth, especially at night for two reasons: 1) bacteria feast off of sugars and 2) cavities ( which is very reason why you would want to use a toothpaste on the beginning, no? 🤔) My gums have been much healthier and overall trauma to my gums and teeth have improved.
What's the difference between this & ones at the Dollar Tree every day?
*but are those artificial sweeteners technically sugars? I don't think they would have the same effect as glucose/sucrose/fructose, etc.
Brings to mind the hilarious old SNL 'commercial' for British toothpaste "with REAL sugah!"

Reminder that stannous fluoride stains teeth. Get sodium fluoride.
