One complaint would be that the lid and main bowl pool water after a dishwashing cycle, so I have to carefully dump it into the sink.

I don't know when the damage happened but it seemed fairly well packaged in the original box. I'm more concerned about the signs of use. I'm getting a refurbished one so I was expecting at least some attempt at cleaning but it literally looked like someone used it right before it was packaged and sent away.
Are they cosmetically the same as a new one and do they come with new unused bowl's?
I just bought a 13 cup cuisinart refurbished food processor with 2 work bowls
It was free , buy it and get a store gift card for the exactsame amount
It was ship to store so I have not got it yet
Was going to spend most of the money a anyways so I figured why not
It was $129

Same issues with mine as well. Cracked and used.
I got the wrong color, ordered grey - got blue! The box outside sticker even said grey - lol. The kitchenaide metallic sticker had a huge bubble in it, right in front - and was crooked. It was also really dusty! I was able to peel up and fix the sticker. It cleaned up ok. Not thrilled but will keep it.
It's does not match my mixer but not something I am leaving out on counter...
Meh. Not impressed. I have purchased 3 refurb mixers from kitchenaid in the past (gifts)... first bad experince with them.

Yea that is unacceptable, especially when this is the new price from last year.
