Most expensive one I made was like $7.30. I figure you could get to $10, but it would be hella nasty.

Am I missing something here, or is their main business based on purchases of hot brewed coffee or tea, Starbucks Reserve® beverages, or ready-to-drink beverages.
I think "hot brewed" is just their cheapest plain cup of coffee like you'd brew at home. It's like $2.50.

That said, I don't know when was the last time I actually paid for a Starbucks drink since they ended sit-down service due to the pandemic nearly a year ago. The only times I go to one these days is to redeem stars, usually on drinkware, sometimes on food, very rarely on actual drinks. In the past I've usually only gotten those when I plan to sit down a while and do some work. With Panera's continuous free coffee offers, I don't see the point, especially since you can usually sit and stay at a Panera's. The coffee's not as good, of course, but a seat's a seat.
I gave my kid to customize his drink. Trust me it's fairly close to it
