Woot loves non-deals on outdated-amazon-tech as their front page trying to unload a bunch of stuff that even Amazon couldn't sell. Then in a week it will end up back on Amazon for less. It's so common you can set your watch to it.

They wouldn't have a mountain stock that has lasted over a year at this price if there wasn't a ton of these being returned constantly. Just search SlickDeals for how many times this has been posted here... and that's just when it's been posted. These show up like every single month.

You are correct. For the echo one, it is commonly $25. However the $25 amount in the title is obligatory as the post is for a multitude of echo devices, some of which quite well priced.

I have an ADT Smartthings hub which is going end of life on June 1st. I have some zigbee products that would then need a new hub. Does anyone know if the Echo Plus 1st Gen w/ built in hub is decent for the $40 price? I literally have a few bulbs and a smoke detector that's zigbee, no crazy automations. Any thoughts?

Any big reason NOT to buy the blink 1st gen cameras, I dont care if they are older gen as long as they work.

I have both. Main difference is battery life. Significantly better on XT2. Both only work properly with lithiums (although rechargeable lithiums have worked mostly ok for me). Theoretically you could power it with micro usb into the back, but you'd lose some weatherproofing. Other performance differences are negligible I think.

I just recently started shopping Woot so dont know the history there. I just bought a new condition AC unit on there and that same model was still priced more than twice as much on Amazon.com and other sites so I dont think all of their items are just leftovers that dont sell. That being said yeah the "acceptable" condition Blink cameras probably going to pass. I buy Amazon warehouse items all the time and have had great luck with used like new and used very good, below that its always been iffy.

Well at least the cube is current 2nd gen.
I will say I got two of the Echo Glow Smart Lamps from woot! couple months back and my kids love em. If they had better than acceptable might up picked up another.

EDIT. I was wrong, as others pointed out- 1st Gen Cube with 2nd gen remote. My bad. Do not get that, the first gen was a slow poke brick.
