I think I've seen this cheaper on Samsung.com with EPP, but I don't have numbers. 2020 model so it should be closing out soon.

FYI... As is the case with all 86" panels, this is IPS and not VA. Expect wider viewing angles and a lower contrast ratio... with similar panel performance to the LG 86" Series UN8570.

Pretty crappy low end tv Refresh Rate
60Hz
Regardless of what the specs say on BB (they have misprinted before), the attached supports the normal Samsung motion enhancement numbers of the native refresh rate being half the motion enhancement rate. In this case... half of motion rate 240 makes this a native 120Hz panel. The attached also shows that there is one HDMI 2.1 port.

This or the Sony X900h? This is obviously cheaper but not sure specs wise. Will be using this mainly for streaming and PS5.

For picture quality I'm assuming this will be an upgrade from a Samsung LED from 2010? OLED is nice but I feel like it's not bright enough for my eyes.

Do not get the X900H for gaming. Flakey as hell and No VRR, eArc etc. Plus you have to keep changing HDMI output from 4k@120 to Dolby Vision when not gaming. I have a 75 inch one if you want a good deal though.

Technically, it's a 2021 TV. Although I agree that it was inspired by the RU8000.

I'm starting to feel the same way. Maybe I should just wait a couple of years until a 98" is $4k.
