Regarding the display, Newegg does not have any details, apart from 200 nits 45% NTSC Panel. So, I did some some digging and foud out the details. The Panel is AU Optronics B156HAN02.1 which is a AHVA (Advanced Hyper-Viewing Angle ) Panel, similar to IPS Technology and normally referred as IPS-Type. This is a 250 nits Panel with 45% NTSC

Panel Model Number: AU Optronics B156HAN02.1
Panel Type: AHVA
Coverage: 65% sRGB | 48% AdobeRGB | 48% DCI P3

Color Temperature: 6485K
PWM Flickering: No
Response Time: 25 ms

Just like the HP version, you can only add one external monitor as a FYI

Thanks for the feedback! Are the keys that much different from a MacBook Air keyboard?Anything else you like/dislike about the unit? Ultimately deciding to return or keep?
I also bought this laptop aswell but returned it. It's pretty good but I could not get over the display, and not being able to increase the vram. I don't know about Macbook air keyboards, but this laptop's keyboard didn't give me much issues. The battery life of this is roughly 5-6 hours. The top of the laptop is metal and the bottom is plastic. If you want more info here are some previous threads and an Amazon page of this same laptop. They're is also a review of the 16gb/512SSD version of this laptop on reddit. I think people are also hesitant with this deal since it's newegg, and returns can be a pain with them.

I returned the laptop after going to a staples store and realizing how every laptop on display had better keys. I could probably adapt to it, but I didn't see the point of making such effort since I use the laptop mainly for typing. The screen for me was ok. I've never had any issues with any MacBook keyboard.

Would this be fast enough to run 4k video?
Your concern isn't if it can run 4k, but if it can display 4k (it cant).

Wow that screen is awful! I really don't get why Ryzen laptops almost exclusively feature terrible displays.
I think instead it's that more of the poor-quality-screen amd laptops go on sale for the very same reason.

Yes, but realize the display would need to be external. The built-in screen isn't a 4K display, but you could plug a tv or monitor into this and the hdmi port will support at least 4K. The Vega 7 graphics aren't going to run games anywhere close to 4K, but you can watch movies and run windows in 4K on an external display.

would this work with dell k20a docking station?
You need a modern intel processor that supports the thunderbolt functions of usb-c, like using a dock. The feature is proprietary to intel.

Indeed - and this is garbage: "AHVA (Advanced Hyper-Viewing Angle ) Panel, similar to IPS Technology."

There is an epidemic of "simliar to" going on. Check out the bogus "kobie beef" in grocery stores.

Not sure why USB2.0 ports are still on laptops produced in 2021. I mean, does it cost that less as compared to USB3.0 ports?
I just don't get it.
If you plug a keyboard or a mouse and have no usb 2.0 port then your usb 3 ports all operate at usb2. Not so great right.
