I have 4 of these around our pool, and easily paid $30+ for each 48ft and came across these for $20.33 which I thought was a total steal. These lights are LED shatterproof and waterproof.

I would guess the light is pretty doom. Perfect for decoration but if you expect them to light up the back yard, that seem like a no

well, at only 2 watts per light that is dim and being 3 feet apart that isnt much light. the whole string is only 30 watts. I have purchased other 24ft strings that have lights 2ft apart and the lights are at least 5 watts per light. no matter what string you get you can always change out the led lights.

I'm in for 1000 because the smooth guitar of their product demo video.

More seriously I've been wanting to outfit my backyard area but won't have a lot of high points to hang from. I imagine I'll have to install some poles to do so. Any recommendations on that?

These are only 2 watts per bulb and 3 feet apart, but there seems to be more light than the Costco set which is 1 watt per bulb at 2 feet apart.

I try to compare the light to the ones I got at Costco. Obviously more expensive than this but they are 24 bulbs at 48 feet. 1 Bulb per 2 feet and that seems to be the standard on most string lights. All the cheaper sets I find are spaced out like this or further. Any more than that it seems too far for me. Maybe personal preference..

Lots of videos on YouTube or TikTok for DIY solutions. It depends on the aesthetic you want, how much work/$$, and the room you have to work with. I like wine barrels with cemented 4x4's that are topped off with rock or potting soil for plants. There are far simpler options out there. Whatever you do, invest in some stainless rope to hang your lights from if you plan to make them a permanent feature. It makes them much more durable.

Costco has Feit 48 ft, 24 bulb string light set on sale. It's cheaper in store compared to their website. If I remember right, it's $30 at store. Considering Costco return policy and extended warranty, I prefer the Costco deal over this. I understand that not everyone has a Costco membership or a Costco nearby.

Are you talking about item 710090?

https://www.costco.com/feit-elect...05061.html

It's showing $50 right now.
There was a price mistake a while back, when the discount wasn't applied properly, which brought them down to $30, but Costco never honored that, and cancelled all orders.

IF you can get it instore, it's cheaper. Costco started putting their shipping prices into the costs to offer "free" shipping.

Yeah, i went in for 6 of those when they dropped to $20 but they cancelled me out Frown

It does, and good reviews too! Was planning to buy the Costco ones, but in for 2 of these instead. Note that the bulbs in the Costco ones are spaced closer together, and are 1-Watt bulbs instead of 2 Watt. They are also "on sale" for well over twice as much. Thanks, OP, and repped.
