Just as I said on the last post keep in mind that this comes with an adapter because the controller when they designed it had a port that was too small so they give you this adapter that you have to use to make into the n64 port. The controller itself I feel like it's great but it just looks really cheap because of this adapter.

Yeah it is pretty shocking too when you consider this isn't their first time making N64 controllers either. How you can screw up something you've made for years before is beyond me haha.

We also established on the other post that this was also designed with M64 compatibility in mind. The M64 ports on the front aren't built to the exact same tolerances as the Original N64 ports, on the original console the controller without the short extension seems to hold decent. Almost too snug with the adapter. On the M64, which this controller was designed for as it has M64 badging all over the box, it fits well with the adapter, however without, it slips right our of the M64's front ports, as it's ports have slightly different tolerances then the OG. The controller itself is nice for the money.

These dummies buying a $300+ When one could buy a real 64 for less. JFC.
$90 for the controller. $90 for the RGB adapter. 4k upscale that looks bad. LOOOL okaaay.

if you think the N64 is the same as the M64 (which can output 4K via HDMI), then the only dummy here is you.

I put that in a previous response. 320x240 or 480x360. LOL!! It up-scales but still looks like sht. How great do you think it can look from going from those resolutions to 4k.... Learn to read.

N64 looks like absolute shite on a new TV and using an HDMI converter introduces an abundance of input lag while looking awful. These games are some of the first 3d games, of course they won't scale up magically without different textures etc. The M64 is a pretty cool FPGA for those that can afford to and wish to relive their original games on new hardware easily and with new features. Undertandably it's not for everyone and those that can't afford the luxury will usually try to belittle those who can. The original console is best left being connected to CRT's. Pointless to waste money to adapt the N64 to present day TV's when better options exist for specifically that purpose.
