Why would that change your mind, the E12 bulbs are accessible, including LED ones
Commonly available E12 LED are still limited to 500/600 lumens. Contrast this with 800 lumens from the brightest halogen and CFL options that were once commonly available in E12. At 2000 lumens this fixture would be fine enough for a small room, especially one with other light sources. However, the medium (E26) base would give this fixture more broad primary lighting applicability (since you could not only fit 60W equivalent 800 lumen lamps, but could also swap in even brighter LED sources).
The light fixture is always something that could be changed, but those shopping at this price point are right to consider the integrated light source as a critical selection criteria.
I know that comparing this to a Hunter fan isn't necessarily fair, but I am interested to hear any feedback about Kichler as a ceiling fan manufacturer (since I know the name only as a seller of Lowes-specific product).
I think my goal is still for an off-brand DC motor fan since my bet is that a builder-grade/retail DC motor fan will give me most of the quiet operation I'd get from comparably (or slightly higher) priced AC motor fans but with much greater efficiency to boot. Not sure if we've got some fan nerds on Slickdeals who have experience with this...?
I've been waiting for a ceiling fan deal with a 3+ bulb light kit... Got excited for this, only to realize it's E12 bulbs...
Due to efficiency requirements I think you won't see many integrated light kits with medium base lamp sockets. Your best bet would be to shop a ceiling fan with an easily replaceable light kit and factor in that cost as part of the deal.

Good luck!

I have been thinking of just replacing the light kit on my current ceiling fan, but I need to figure out what specifications to look for to make sure it fits my ceiling fan

Most smart bulbs like first-gen Hue bulbs (what I'd use) are not this size. Having to use an adapter just makes the light stick out more than it needs to.
If anybody interested, filler items to bring the total to $50 for free shipping. cabinet knob: BP53005G10 / $1.91, various Schlage Dexter Series Square Full Lip Strike Plate each $1.50.
You can always get E12 to E26 converters. You can get a 15 pack on Amazon for $13.99. I don't understand why they do this with some ceiling fans, though. Maybe they have worked a deal with the bulb manufacturers, lol.

Listen to this dude, unless this isn't your primary lighting apparatus.
Also, I'd have gone all in if this was bronze.

Agree. That's why I chose to pass this deal.
