These are two different promotions, so you can do both promotions, but on different lines.
1. FOR BYOD: I added 2 new lines on BYOD. I will not touch these 2 lines for atleast 31 Days.
2. FOR IPHONE BOGO: I used one existing line to add one device (it's called upgrade), and added one new line for another device.
Thanks for clarifying. So doing both would really only work for those who have existing lines on tmo, correct?
I have 3 lines on Vz right now and was thinking to port-in 2 on one new acct for $300*2 then the other separate new acct for $300*1. In either new acct though, I probably could not do BOGO, correct as they havent been on tmo for 31 days? Or could I add two lines to one of the accts just for BOGO and switch those phones over after some time? Not sure if thats really worth it though.

You can do BOGO on your 1st account as well.
Just add two more additional lines, I used existing lines to save cost for one line. As requirement for BOGO is to add atleast one new line to get $100 Costco Card. So I upgrade one existing line and added one new line.
In your case, do following
1. Port 2 Verizon line to get $300 bYOD offer.
2. Port 3rd line and ask costco to add one more (4th line) line, so you get BOGO $540 offer as well and also get $100 for adding one new.
So adding total 4 lines, will automatically qualify for 3rd line free :-)

Current sprint customers are not eligible for either of these promotions right?

Humm, interesting.
So in this scenario, no need to create two separate accounts?
The third line (on same acct), would NOT be for the $300 byod but for the purpose of BOGO along with the 4th line added, which is a BOGO requirement anyway?
Any chance they would reject BOGO for the 3rd line saying it doesn't meet the 31day requirement?
So what is the final verdict, 2/account limit for $300 byod promo or can do more?
It's strange because kiosk person (others have said this as well) state you can do more than 2 (thats what they told me too). Though the terms state Max 2/acct and I saw the same on their cheatsheet form for promos.
I guess if there is a way you can get some type of confirmation that more than 2 will go through, that would be the key...

Yes, you got it right.
31 day rule is only for upgrade. Say you did BYOd line yesterday and today you want to upgrade same line for device, then you cant. You cant modify the lines till 31 days. You can add as many as 12 lines anytime....so keep different lines for different promotions on same account...

Yes, only 2 lines are eligible for BYOD offer, my local Costco agent did confirm and even terms says same.
The kiosk guy put in some strange number for the IMEI on the rebate form so mypromochoice would not accept it. Anyone know how to rectify this mistake? Everything else for the submitted form is ok.

Just to clarify - so third line I would just port the line and not byod and tell them it is for purpose of BOGO along with the 4th added line?
Would I need to do #1 and #2 on separate days? Guessing at minimum I would need to do #1 completely before doing #2.
Also, is there a certain plan I need to be on to get the 3rd line free? Sorry not familiar with Tmo plans but want to do the bear minimum plan.

If I do the BYOD and add 2 lines then subsequently cancel the 2 lines after receiving the $300 gift cards, will I risk losing my free lines added last year? I'm under the impression that since the lines I will cancel are added AFTER my free lines, I can cancel without losing the free lines from before.
