Secondly, the 30day return is only from date of purchase not delivery. In my case I received mine a week later, so had 2 weeks to figure out if I wanted it/broken and a week left for shipping it back.
You can take your chances but the policy is the policy.

I bought one refurbished C535 from winix directly. Within a week, the fan starts making low frequency humming noise and I contacted the CS. Without even replying to me, after a week, I received another C535 w/o needing to return the existing one.

I wouldn't buy from winix since their returns policy are not great. 30days on new items and you pay for shipping.

Lot of people complain about the C545 and its wifi issues. The wifi issue is probably not a big deal however, the filters maybe more expensive and harder to find than C535.

There is no real difference between the Pet model and the normal model, except they might screw you on the charcoal filter for the pet. All of these things have a plastic mesh pre-filter. That works fine. Hair is hair. Dust is dust. Buy it now, or you're gonna bust.
