The "gold standard" for UV lights are the Convoy S2+ with nichia 365nm led or newer version with LG 365nm led. The Anker uses 380nm so be sure that works for your application. You can also consider a UV filter for protection and to cut back purple light.
They're bought out reviews. Send the product to customers for good reviews. I woulden't trust them.
I bought one like a year ago. It's fine to search a small area but for hunting scorpions in the yard etc you will want a wider beam.

The reviews on Amazon are pretty uniformly praising at the regular price. Seems a pretty solid deal.

Ha... I was approached on PM on SD by some sellers.. So definitely don't trust them.

Anker has been coming out with some great products, but not all are good.

Was wondering who has used one of these here

Good for quickly recharging glow balls at the dog park at night. I don't have this one but once someone sees me use one they wind up getting one too.

Since you specifically mentioned using this flashlight to search for scorpions, is this light a good option for that?

That's exactly what I want to buy a UV flashlight for, to give to a family member, who recently found a scorpion in their home, here in Arizona.

Or, would it be better to try to find a UV light with a wider beam pattern? Some sort of UV flooder flashlight?

Will this work okay for using for rock hunting and such? I just wanna see some fluorescent rocks etc nothing like money.

My application is unique (riboflavin fluorescence for germ transfer training) and 365 is perfect. I think for minerals you should be Ok with 380nm but I can't support that fully as I'm not entirely certain (just google savvy).

I've paid for all my Anker products. If I'm not happy, they take good care of customers.

I'm a paying customer and have had good experience with Anker flashlights. I own the LC90, LC40, LC30 and P2 penlight and use them regularly in the field for fire equipment inspections. These are good cheap lights that I'm not afraid to use and abuse on a daily basis. They have taken a beating, been dropped, been rolled over with a creeper with no issues. Light output is decent for my needs.

I have had pretty good experience with them, I ordered Q30 and it came squished because they send it in a cardboard box but in a plastic envelope, they refunded the full money next day.
