I agree that he got hate he shouldn't have, but this comment should.

I personally have no problem with the idea of an "indie shelf" or something similar on the PS store, but to call these (all?) indie games "littered junk" is ignorant and immature.

PLENTY of indie titles BLOW AAA titles away. Are simply BETTER games, get rated higher, etc. Sure, there's a lot of junk, but there are lots of gems too. Just like with big name studio titles.

Equating 'big' with 'good' is downright silly.

For a buck fiddy, just try Amnesia and tell me it's junk. I'll wait. Big Grin
Yeah I'm not saying there's not good games but its also not 1995 these games could have come out in. Theres not enough innovation imo in today's games

All poorly rated on metacritic user
Don't believe everything you read on the Internet.

Example: Human Fall Flat is a great, chill coop game to play with friends. A steal at this price.

The bundle is actually less than Humans Fall Flat as a standalone purchase. Same goes with Flame in Tempe Flood.
I played little acre on game pass. That was fun, too.

I wish there was a special section in the PS store for these indie games. I dont buy them. I dont play them. I didnt buy a next gen PS5 for any of these little games. I get tired of wading thru all of them while looking for the good deals on the big budget games that I actually like. Put them in their own section. I don't even want to see them.
Ummm that's why it's called filters you goof. Lucky I'm not near you or I would straight up yell at you in person

Each one of these bundles has great games in it and is well worth the sub $2 price.

Stikbold! -> 9/10 steam

Action Henk -> 7/10 steam

10 Second Ninja X -> 9/10 steam

Dear Esther -> 7/10 steam

Hue -> 9/10 steam

Flame in the Flood -> 7/10 steam

Swindle -> 6/10 steam

Nova-111 -> 7/10 steam

Pumped BMX+ -> 9/10 steam

I'm someone who has left a negative review for The Swindle, I can say for under $2 it's well worth that price. It has some game-breaking procedural generation issues, but you can definitely get a few hours of fun out of it.

The Swindle on Wii U (do not laugh) at one point in time got more per-day play than Breath of the Wild, but it was so broken (hello, edges that can kill you by looking at you) that I only ever beat it three times.

The moment I had it on Switch, something was fixed because I finished it the first go around with days to spare. I now have it for PS4 (PS5) and it's still JUST AS FUN.

It's definitely a bite-sized game but way better than 6/10 would tell you.

Flame in the Flood is very good but the dang wolves eat me for breakfast.

Hue was a fun puzzler with some reflex requirements. Not bad at all.

I wish indie films and indie music would also be relegated to complete obscurity.

I mean, who needs creative, intelligent people creating when we can have mega corporations with teams of hundreds churn out formulaic "art" for the masses that is guaranteed to succeed because the creators tested the demographics and has algorithms that know exactly what they will like.

Good call, man, to hell with individual creativity.

Ive had Amnesia on my PC forever. Played a little of it, and never went back for more. Yawn. I can almost guarantee you that no one bought an expensive next gen PS5 to waste it on these low budget Indie games.

Not sure what PS5 has to do with this? We are talking about almost free games, many of which are very good, on the PS4.

Also, how did Cyberpunk 2077, the poster-child of AAA, massive budget, made for "next gen" consoles like your PS5 turn out? Stick Out Tongue That one had a MASSIVE budget, around $200 million IIRC. 8 years in the making.

Cyberpunk turned out just fine for my PS5. I absolutely love the game and I cant wait to finish it so I can replay it again.

Did I mention that I own a PS5, and that I couldn't care less about these low budget boring indie games because I own a PS5? Did I mention that before I owned the PS5, I had a PS4 Pro, and I couldn't have cared less about low budget boring indie games because I had a PS4 Pro? I guess I forgot to mention all that.

Once again, most people don't buy these expensive consoles just to play these boring little low budget indie games.

You did mention that in this PS4 thread, and it was totally relevant and riveting information. Please, tell us more about any other gaming hardware you might own or have owned in the past 10 years! Hell, tell us about any you are planning to buy in the future while you're at it. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who is dying to know.
