Obviously this guy never tried galaxy tab S7+.

SD people are not stupid, they are giving thumbs up based on the value. it is you who is making statement without even put your hands on this tablet. people know pros and cons of ipad and android tablet. Based on use, this can be amazing value for people. Dont act like you are a lone expert here.

I can replicate the deal before checkout, but the discounts get removed and my total before tax is $749.99... :-(

Nope. You need to use EPP/EDU portal. I can see this price, but went with the smaller S7 at 285. 12" is big for a travel device IMO.
