Convenience factor.

The Switch is a portable console. If I can buy a 512GB SD card and store every single game I own for it, it becomes even more portable.

And when it's in docked mode, nothing beats being able to switch between games like you're browsing your Steam library.

Plus, a lot of people have small children or pets. The bitterant they added to dissuade putting the cartridges in your mouth isn't that effective (put your tongue to one of the cartridges if you're skeptical).

I really was into physical copy before and I always buy them thinking I'd sell them later but I never did. I once bought 2 games in digital and holy shit I realized how much time I wasted changing cartridges and just thinking about changing them made me too lazy to change games. So yeah I love the digital copies now. Lol

Thanks OP! I ordered Luigi's Mansion 3 as my son wanted to have it. Might be a good Easter Present. Ordered via GameStop to also take 1% cashback into account if it works.

Edit: 1% cashback showed up. Not much but every penny counts. Smilie
