This is a GREAT deal and a good value for anyone who wants the old-school arcade experience.

-My kids, 3, 5, 15 beat the crap out of it regularly and it stands up to the abuse.

-The trackball and spinners add extra fun to the overall experience.

-You can expand the system with addons like pinball buttons for virtual pinball, light guns, third party racing wheels and even a sweet LED marquee (the sign at the top of the cabinet) that cycles through different game titles.

-The software is super easy to use and you can even connect to your gaming PC on your local network and play Steam games on the cabinet. You can plug in different (modern) systems and play them with the controls, which are also Bluetooth.

-If you're tech savvy, you can add in thousands of extra games with a USB drive. (Google 'ALU Sauce')

-I've built my own custom arcade cabinets from scratch, and this is entirely worth the money. The build is solid, the cabinet graphics are very nice, the controls are decent quality and the control panel is well laid out and the software is plug and play. Sure, you can build one for $500, but the sweat equity (including figuring out your arcade front end) will cost you far more than $500 IMO.

-Yes, this was ~cheaper~ at Sam's in the past, so not even counting the membership fee for Sam's, if you're going to the past, please pick me up on the way so we can swing by 2011 and pick up some Bitcoin.

Awesome deal. With the current Arcade cabinet craze this won't get any cheaper unless it's a YMMV deal. If I had room, I would buy another because these get enough traffic at my house.

Also if you have a Sam's card it's same price with extra pinball buttons on sides. It's a great machine. We love it also. Got the flash drive loaded with thousands of games.

Two words...
Golden Tee

(Old versions, buy nonetheless fun. You can hook up a computer [or android tablet ?(YMMV)] and play the newer app versions [Steam, CoinOPS] by linking the buttons to your computer/tablet via bluetooth. The spinner will serve as the mouse.)

NOTE: The cpu on this isn't going to be able to get past Dreamcast or XBOX (gen 1) games. You can hook a PC up and play some 3D/modern games by linking the buttons. However, old school arcade is where this unit shines. Golden Axe, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Capcom, MetalSlug, etc.

I was an early adopter and picked this up in Dec. 2019. I can't recommend this arcade enough! Great support from Atgames. I admit, the included games aren't great, but 100% agree about installing "ALU sauce." It's a compiled set of games specifically for this arcade. (Everything you can think of including Golden Tee! ). I have 4 kids that play it all the time and it's held up really well.

The company continues to introduce new add-ons like pinball and light guns! I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

How do you hook up a computer hardwired (not wifi or bluetooth)? Do you just connect a usb cable from any USB port on the computer and an HDMI cable from the video card to the arcade front connect ports? How does the arcade and the computer sync controls over that USB cable for coinops, steam, or installed games on the computer? I can't find a video on this. I've seen ones about streaming connections and coinopsX via USB stick, but nothing on hardwired connections.

How often do these come back in stock at Sams stores? They always seem to be out of stock near me and I've heard that shipping tends to damage the units.

For those of you thinking about this for your kids, my little ones (5 & 3 years) love this cabinet and play it more than their Arcade1up cabinets, their RetroPie, and their Xbox. I got them a couple Star Wars garage stools from Home Depot to reach the controls.

You can't connect the PC to the control panel via wire. However, you can connect the PC video/audio to the Legends Ultimate via an HDMI in on the control panel, then switch the video input on the Legends Ultimate to the PC. Then you connect the control panel to the PC via Bluetooth.

Or you just stream the games from your PC over your local network.

I bought one a few weeks ago and it was worth every penny. I've built a few mini cabs before running RetroPie, but this was so damn much easier. So far, it's run everything I've added (gotta love saUCE!)
I do suggest not installing side art and putting the kick plate on backwards because I think the art is hideous, but still this is a phenomenal machine. My kids (3 and 6) play with me all the time and really love it. Holds up to their abuse quite well so far.

You can connect the control panel via a USB A to USB A cable and then selecting OTG mode in the settings menu.

I had two come in around Christmas. Both came in perfect. My local Sam's was out of stock also at the time. No issues on either one. Easy to put together also. Really just two pieces almost. Some of the Sam's stores have marked them down now also in store if they can be found.

How do these compare overall to a pandoras box or something similar? I know the controls on the Pandora and other similiar products are top notch and worth the price.
