Considering getting this for a house with wood/tile flooring and carpets on stairs and rugs. What experience can you share about how this performs and the reliability of the vacuum? A basic search shows that it is highly rated and compares well with the Dyson V11.

Tried dyson v11, jet 90, this and and the newer cordzero a9s. They have pros and cons but if you hate heavy weight then v11 is out. If you need to cover large areas then this one is out due to poor battery time regardless of having two packs. The newer A9s with thinq is more or less similar to jet90 and v11 in terms of battery time but id say jet 90 was more all arounder especially if you need to use it on a hardwood flooring as jet 90 comes with better heads.

I was looking at this vs. Dyson. The consensus seems to be that LG parts are not very available in the US, so warranty may be difficult.

However this has Costco's godly return policy, so I'm torn.

We picked this up after our Dyson V6 Origin died. The suction power isn't as good as a Dyson at the normal setting but there are 3 levels of power. We usually use the second level and that does a good job. The swappable battery and included accessories are great. My wife loves that the rollers are able to roll smoothly. With the Dyson, the carpet roller would always get stuck on our high pile rugs and be difficult to maneuver. Can't compare to higher end Dyson's as we haven't used those but the LG has been great for the cost.

Same here. Think I'm leaning on the LG since I missed out on the refurb Dyson deal last week..

Costco website actually does show it as $499.99 minus 150 for $349.99

You are right, the physical book show $130 but the same ad online is $150. Hmmmm....

I have this, bought the refurb from ebay. Love it.

Having the hot swappable battery is great not only because you can have two charged batteries ready, but you can replace them easily. In Dyson, replacing the battery means you have to take the thing apart.

Only used the hard floor and short attachments. There are a number of youtube videos comparing it to Dyson
