What is going to be annoying is when all these orders are canceled and all the entitled people come back to cry about how a promo that obviously wasn't meant for them, wasn't honored.

It literally says "Welcome REI Employees." This is a pro-form deal not meant for the general public.

If Hoka comes through and decides to honor it, great... But if not, you really don't have anything to complain about. Honest mistakes happen.

Crazy good deal, as these are their newest models. Looks like not all colors qualify, and neither will multiple shoes in one order. So, I'd refrain from multiple orders to reduce risk of cancellation, but there's a chance these are all cancelled anyway. Clifton is their all-around shoe and most popular, so that's the one to get if you're unsure. Bondi is (ultra)max cushion and the Torrent is for trail-running

FYI This is supposed to be an employee only deal that the vendor offers for dealer employees to buy these shoes at a steep discount so that they'll try them and recommend them to customers. When it comes to prodeals like these most vendors will only offer one time use codes after completing a series of online quizzes. Rarely does a company provide a standard discount code like this but it does happen and even then the order usually stipulates that the order be sent to the employees authorized work place, in this case an rei store. The fact that Hoka didn't foresee something like this happening and put those restrictions in place is beyond me. But hey, it's a great deal, so if you can get in an order and it ships that's awesome. At worst your in for a cancellation, at best some highly discounted shoes. One things fir certain though, the next time HOKA gives a deal like this to employees they're most likely going to implement restrictions so this doesn't happen again. So get in while you can.

Hmmm. I do wonder how the 30 day return policy will apply to these orders. Generally speaking when a company offers these discounts to employees, they specifically state that orders placed with this discount are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange. Yes I know it doesn't say that on the site through the link but it may have stated that as part of the info given out to employees when they received the discount code. And before yall say that it doesn't say so on the site, that's true, but your not rei employees either and would not have seen the original rules associated with using this discount. Hopefully y'all will be able to return / exchange if need be.
