Sony is the Toyota of TVs. Good quality and reliable. You get what you pay for ... I've seen 75" TVs from mom and pop China factories rebranded for 500-600$. expect them to last a day after the warranty. But things to consider ... contrast. If you're watching movies in the dark vs a room with glare. 120hz is nice for those with sensitive eyes. Keep your eyeballs healthy and don't strain them!

Two years ago a 75" Sony was $2k. Crazy times we live in
That's for their top of the line 4K TVs, not these 750H equivalent...
750H is way inferior to Sony's 900 and 950 line..

I love Sony TVs! Mainly I like the built in android tv app. It's just so convenient and easy to use!

One of these arrived at my local Walmart this morning: $798
Same model, 75". Brand new---Factory wrapped.
I did research when i got home: was not listed on brickseek, nor was it listed on the Walmart home online. Was not even listed in local walmart stock.
I'd grab it at $798; on walmart.com for $998.

How does this compare to the x900h? I had a 65" version of the x900h but returned it because I wanted the 75". I know this is not as good as the 900 series, but how far off are they?

Better than the current Costco sale on Samsung 75" TU700D at $849?

IMO, this Sony is more comparable to the TU8000, but the Sony gets quite a bit brighter, has a wide color gamut, and has much better gradient handling.

I too like Android on Sony TVs, but it won't be as quick and responsive on this budget model as it is on the models (XBR) above it.

Why? what is it you like about sony TV?

SONY has more to lose as a brand. If hisense messed something badly, they can start over, maybe call themselves lowsense or whatever ... Not so easy for SONY.
