HP Spectre 15 x360 2020 model 1399 + tax
compared to bestbuy 1699+tax. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-s...Id=6406696

Same model number but Microsoft description of 512 GB hard disk is wrong. It ships with 1TB disk just like bestbuy.. MS does not specify its the 4k AOLED model either. Comes with HP tilt rechargeable pen and laptop sleeve.

Great spec for 2 in 1 on a high end intel 6 core processor and dedicated graphic on a 4k screen.

Below reddit explains the wrong hardware config on MS site.

If this is truly the Amoled screen with 1 TB ssd it would be a great deal. Best Buy has that model on sale this week for $1699. Last week they had the 4k UHD on sale for $1399. Can anyone confirm which one this is from Microsoft?

Thats refurb with limited warranty. 90 days? Compared to this for $100 more with full 1 yr warranty.

I was able to get best buy to price match this via the chat function on their site. I thought for sure they wouldn't do it because of the hard drive discrepancy but they did it with no problems, took about 10 minutes total and I just got back from picking it up.

Definitely a little sad since I just paid $68 more for this (if it really has 1TB), mainly because mine is the 1165G7 vs this 10750H, even though I have the newer 11th gen. I really wanted more than 4 cores, and it would've also been nice to have the NVIDIA 1650 instead of the Iris but nothing was available with the better processors in February. There were plenty at the end of 2020 and I wouldn't have minded waiting until a good deal came around, but my laptop started making buzzing sounds and blacking out. So even though I got a good deal (president's day sale at HP), I still would've waited for something like this...especially since it took a month to get it.

HP is never a good deal, IMO. They always die in a few years and a lot of problems along the way to death. My last HP laptop (over 10 years ago) would randomly black out because the video card would come loose by itself. Eventually the whole thing just stayed black with only the fan running. Never touched an HP since then and never will again. I stuck with IBM Lenovo and Dell but nowadays China Lenovo is no better than ASUS/Acer with fans dying, sticky power buttons, and cpu overheating.
