I've owned this monitor for about a year. This monitor is a beast for gaming. Sturdy base. I'm super pleased. can be a bit washed out when watching videos that go pitch black, but that's expected and not as bad as people make it out to be. I have it connected to an Alienware 51m with a 2080 and push games to the 144fps.
The headphones jack is in the back of the monitor. It's really small and looks like nothing should go in there. (Insert that's what she said joke)

Good deal, especially if you want a controller. I just got the Dell S2721DGF which uses a version of this panel and it is very good. Didn't realize a fast refresh would be so nice outside of gaming, but it makes everything feel zippy. Don't forget to update the firmware on the controller if you get disconnects. I got one of these at launch and still have some odd disconnect issues. Otherwise it is a great controller and I'm sure they will sort out the issues with firmware.
I bought the GL850 last year, but I've been looking for a 2nd monitor for Web browsing and Youtube while gaming. I haven't seen the monitors compared anywhere. How much difference is there in the Nano IPS? Based on what I'm reading, this monitor doesn't have it. The GL850 is also $480 on amazon, so there's a large price gap. If I wanted it for uniformity, would it be that much different than the Nano IPS? Any thoughts from current owners?
