I got this monitor in 2021 for $280 and it has been a great monitor for gaming, working, and watching videos.

for $200 I want to like it, but a lot of reviews say that it fails repeatedly after about a year...lot of reviews and photos.

I own a 27GL83A-B, and it had issues in less than a year. LG's warranty support is a bit of a pain and slow. It took about a month to resolve. My issue was like 10 rows of dead pixels going across the bottom of the screen. I've always used Dell in the past for LCD monitors so I think I will stick with them next time. I seem to recall the Ultrasharp monitors having advance replacement. If I do buy LG again I would probably get an extended warranty.
