Fun game would recommend for anyone who wants a two player game. Strategy for scoring is pretty unique I think

I'm always surprised (and worried) when something goes on sale as much as this game does. I know there are good reviews, but what's up with the sale every 2-3 weeks?

I found this game to be boring honestly. I bought this last time I saw it on sale (a few months back). Would not buy again. Not that much fun imo.

It's a relatively small game with not very many components. There are only 35 cards (including 2 reference cards) and a handful of point tokens in the box so realistically it shouldn't cost much more than a deck of playing cards. I think its current price is a better reflection of what it should be regularly priced at.

In terms of the game, it's okay. I was hoping I would like it a lot better but it becomes pretty obvious to the other player when one player is trying to purposely lose to get a "humble" victory which can then be easily undone. So it usually comes done to about a one to three point difference per round. It's probably the best competitive trick-taking game but that's not saying much.

If you would like a similar game but with much more interesting mechanics, I'd suggest checking out The Crew: The Quest for Planet Nine. It's a similar trick-taking game but it's cooperative and has an ingenious communication mechanic to get players to complete common goals.

That makes a lot of sense. I appreciate the info and the suggestion! I'll check out The Crew
