I agree you need to read between the lines and it's a good idea to scan with Fakespot. That said, just about all the many 1-star reviews talk about the tip breaking off in their phone, and many have photos to show it. I've purchased probably 30-40 lightning cables and have NEVER had a tip break off in the phone. So I'm gonna say the risk to reward on these isn't worth it to me.

$10 is what an Off-brand Otterbox normally goes for, so $10 for the real thing seems like a pretty good price to me, Thanks!

Seller is A4C. They have a fairly large presence on eBay/Amazon and seem to sell secondhand "recovered" retail electronics (i.e. returns, overstock). I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them.

All the future accesories, charger, phones are usb-c connectivity. This is a good deal but I would pass given that USB-C connectivity is future proof, atleast for couple of years for now.
