Great option for a cheap location tracking SIM. I often have to park my car in unsafe & high crime locations. My car has been towed twice (illegally!) while it was legally parked on city streets (shady tow company!), and several car thefts are reported in these areas every month. I have an old iPhone SE that I hook to a USB battery pack and put both in the trunk under the spare tire cover. I can open Find my IPhone on my main phone and see that my car is still where I left it, or where it has gone if stolen or towed. Runs about 10 days on the external battery pack, and uses minimal data. This type of SIM is perfect.
I have this plan. Here are the add-on costs:

$10.00 - 1000 Minutes Top Up
$2.00 - 100 Minutes Top Up
$5.00 - 250 Minutes Top Up
$10.00 - International Add On Credits

$5.00 - 250 Messages Top Up
$2.00 - 100 Messages Top Up

$10.00 - 1 GB Data Top Up
$15.00 - 2 GB Data Top Up
$2.00 - 100 MB Data Top Up
$5.00 - 250 MB Data Top Up
Any phone is an emergency phone, they all dial 911.

Try this with Moto G Power 2020 version. Easy 2 weeks on a single charge! With a battery pack maybe a month or more.

Are you on GSMA? I'm on their cdmav and never had this issue in 3 years, but my spouse on GSMA had this problem this month.
TMobile network, GSMA I guess. To be clear, I don't actually lose service or anything. I just find the warning texts particularly annoying. Telling me I need to refill each month when I've already paid for a year.

I'm getting unnecessary spam messages on the new red pocket number. Anyone experiencing that?
happens sometimes... just depends on what the person that had the number last did with it, usually. I had one new number that would get several automated texts daily. But most responded to a STOP reply and cleared things up.

You get 10 minutes of calling and 10 texts and 25 mb data with Freedom Pop, lol. It's not even worth the time to sign up and the $5 sim card.

The Red Pocket plan can actually be many peoples main cell phone plan, especially older people and people who don't live on their smartphones. I've been with Red Pocket for years. I'm on the $10.00 a month plan, I'm on WIFI calling 90% the time so 1000 minutes a month is way more than enough for me. I've never come close to using the 1 GB of data a month as I'm on WIFI 90% of the time (isn't everyone?). And of course unlimited text. If this $30 plan gave you another couple hundred of MB's a month I'd be set for the year. I usually only use around 200 MB-300 MB of data a month, but only having 200 mb is cutting it too close. But to think I used to pay over $160 a month back in the day for my Verizon plan, lol. Then when I signed my family up for our first "Family Plan" I think I paid almost $300 a month for 3 lines, lol.
You mentioned about WI-FI calling. Which SIM are you using? I tried GSMA and GSMT on Pixel 3a and Pixel 4a and it never worked. I called customer service several times and we tried lot of things (restarts, taking SIM out, sending updates to tower, and others).

Earlier, I had Ultra Mobile (T Mobile) and one call activated WiFi calling without any issues.

I have a Verizon unlocked iPhone X. I bought it unlocked directly from the apple store. My phone has MEID. Since my phone is not a sprint phone, I'm not sure if the cdma plan will activate successfully on my phone. Anyone knows?
I Probably can't return after I figure out it doesn't work.

Once you've closed your landline account, I'm not sure if you'll be able to retain your number. I think you can only port an active number.

Yes, you can obtain a phone number upon activation, and based on your message, our GSMT network sounds like the way to go here.
Recently purchased a Galaxy Watch LTE on here and I've been thinking about adding voice/data to my watch. I wouldn't needed unlimited data/call/text since it's pretty much connected to wifi or phone via Bluetooth and well I can't stream video, audio or even browse Reddit on this thing. I guess the only data I would use is when I hit refresh on the weather icon and that's pretty much it. On rare occasions I do forget my phone while heading to the grocery store and so i have to call home asking why I'm there but I can't because I don't have my phone. My watch I always have on so having this plan on my watch definitely sounds like something that might be useful for me primarily to make just calls. Any chance Red Pocket allows ESIM devices on their network that support unlocked Samsung Galaxy LTE enabled watches?

What's the closest version of this plan for an AT&T phone? I was using the Tracfone one but I missed the sales.

The cheapest AT&T plan (GSMA) is $60/yr, 100/100/500Mb plan.
It's $99 for 1000/unl/1GB.

Hi there!

This specific plan has a cap of 200MB but some of our others offer unlimited data at slower speeds.
@Red-PocketD When will the sale of the 3GB and 8GB monthly data for the annual plans go on sale? Eagerly waiting for one of those. Smilie
My annual plan expired and I'm going on the monthly minimum plans.
