Exactly, you can buy this TV cheaper like that recent eBay deal. None of those warranties cover burn-in. If I'm spending $2,000 on a tv, I would like some sort of protection. I never owned an OLED before, so I'm a little worried.

just picked this up. the Costco rep also said if they have a lower price in 90 days I can come match it.

Geek Squad warranty covers burn in. At least it did when I bought my TV back in March of last year.

if you buy online, costco will normally price match within 90 days rather than them come pick it up for a return and you buy another one at the lower price. Its a win/win for everyone.

I have a 6 year old 55" and a 2 year old 65" LG OLED and neither have a trace of burn in. I wouldn't worry about it unless you plan leaving it on 24/7 for months at a time on a stationary image.

The Geek Squad warranty does cover Burn in

They paid me 100% back( in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card) about 6 months ago for my OLED

I have yet to use the gift card and am still using the same OLED they paid me for

Probably going to snag a Sony A9G OLED at some point

Price match happens only with in 30 days the 90 days has to be be done by returning it and buying it again with the new lower price or buy second and return immediately with the first purchase bill, so it's not a easy 90 days price adjustment just a heads up . But 30 days is a straight forward price match . Hope that helps
