Went ahead and bought the blue model. Likely not going to see the color very often with a case.

Also protip buy the logitech case (with keyboard and trackpad) rather than magic keyboard IMO. Better viewing angles, better to hold the apple pencil, and cheaper.

Also if you buy apple pencil from apples website = free engravement.

These things are stronger than my 2015 macbook pro. Its insane.

Not sure if this helps anyone but you can find some great deals on OfferUp. I picked up a brand new Rose Gold 64GB for $450 last week. Just meet at a safe place, check everything out, enter the serial on Apple's website and you should be golden.

What do you look for when you check the serial?

The scam I hear most often is to first sell the device, then report it stolen after. They get insurance, you get an unusable product. That being said, I do buy on eBay but I wouldn't mind using local markets if I knew the pitfalls.

Maybe you are lucky, but I do not understand why someone wants to sell it for $450 when they can easily do $500 or higher, unless they are in urgent need of money.

My area seems to be competitive. I see several listed between $500-550 with no bites so I made a random offer and the person said yes. It doesn't hurt to try. Smilie
