This is an amazing watch and I have never seen it on sale like this. Just sold mine to fund another purchase, but wanted to share with others. This thing gives a Rolex Datejust a run for it's money, and I say that as a Rolex owner and fan. Use code INSIDER for 10% off. $796.50 Delivered. Just sold mine used for a good deal more than that.
Been tempted by these quote a few times over the years however two things really bother me : no taper in the bracelet and the butterfly clasp. If it wasn't for those I likely would have had one a long time ago.

Understandable...the clasp and no taper never bothered me. Very high quality piece... I would put the finishing of these on par with Brietling and the like. I've collected watches for over 20 years and this punched above it's weight class higher than anything else I have ever bought. I only sold because I never had use for a more formal/dressier watch and preferred more tool/casual watches. I had the black and am finding myself tempted by the Gray at this price...man this hobby is like a drug
so, I gather "ShopWorn.com" is NOT an authorized dealer?
Just want to confirm.
BTW, if you get used Ball watch, warranty is NOT transferable (even though their warranty verbiage may not say it isn't transferable) as I had some argument with the CEO of the company regarding the lack of "transferability" in the warranty terms means it can be transferred, vs. his assertion that since it does not say it can be transferred, they can argue that it covers only original owner.
This is tempting. At this point, my wife may argue that I have too many watches though.

Odd that you mentioned this watch as being "formal"/"dressier".. As this watch definitely does NOT look "dressy". Even my Dornbluth 99.1 is not strictly "dress" watch and that is FAR more formal looking than this one.

Guess "formal/Dressy" is all in the eye of the beholder. My other watches are a Doxa 300T, Omega Planet Ocean, Rado Captain Cook, Explorer II, Seiko 6309, etc. This is unquestionably more dressy than my other ones, but I like Diver/Tool watches as you can see. This compared to a Patek/Lange/Cartier? Yeah, this is not dressy at all
As far as warranty, Shopworn is a well known gray dealer with a 14 day no question money back guarantee. I believe they give thier own 2 year warranty for defects etc. The risk/reward obviously is the massive savings off retail which most AD's cant touch. I have bought many watches from gray dealers like Jomashop including expense watches like Panerai, etc and never once had an issue. YMMV.

I my self have PO and EXP II (polar white) as well. Along with Pam 165, Grand Seiko Snowflake and GMT as well as Dornbluth for more formal occasion. Lately, the Citizen solar diver is on my wrist most of the times as I do not wear my watch indoors and when I go out now a days, it is only to do some yard work or quick run to a grocery store. I guess once we start going out more, I will wear my watches more.
Yes, horology is like drug. Happy collecting and may your watches keep time.
I bought my Ball Engineer Master II Diver from Shopworn a couple years ago when they had it at a ridiculous price like this one. Came with the warranty card blank, so would not assume the Ball warranty applies. The watch still runs great so didn't need to use the warranty.
Nothing but great things to say about Ball and Shooworn

I'm sure there are many watches that look dressier - so that's really not relevant - that being said, this definitely is a watch that leans towards 'dressy'.
Any reccomendations on face color? I'm thinking black...
Black goes with everything. So that is the safe choice. But that video I posted in the comments shows gray and man that looks so nice. If this is your only watch and will be your "go-to" option, I would probably lean black though. My .02

The video you posted, its Blue Dial not grey. In the description of the video it states the watch number : NM2026C-S6-BE(Blue)
