I'll tell ya what, Negative Nelly - both my wife and I have purchased several Amazon Essential clothing items, and found them comfortable and very well made, so.......

Amazon recommend the medium size to me based on previous purchase, so I think it's regular size only.

Sounds like he or she is the same person that will leave a 1 star review for the product because it leaked or got damaged during shipping. When someone rates a product low because of something that has nothing to do with the product itself…. That's the definition of a mook!!
Negative is that there's some minor sizing variation between colors and batches of product (typical for offshored clothing production, especially discount-priced stuff). If you fall between sizes, round up instead of down, and think of what a bargain you're getting.
