Fruity pebbles, coco puffs, alpha-bits don't taste like they used too.

Oh for sure they don't. These used to stand up to milk better back in the day. Now they turn to flavorless mush within seconds of adding milk. Cocoa Pebbles is slightly better because it at least makes the milk chocolate flavored.
But they did that to most all breakfast cereals.
