Settling for 1.25 cents per point is pretty bad. TPG, like any website, naturally wants to make money. But their travel points estimates are usually pretty accurate.
Unless you can't be bothered to transfer points to Chase travel partners. Which takes 2 or 3 extra clicks. You can routinely get around 1.5 to 2+ cents per point, if not more.

Absolute nonsense.
It's exceedingly rare I get less than 2 cents a point for my chase UR points via transfers to airlines (or even Hyatt).
On premium airfares I often get 4-6 cents a point.
I know that they pulled Experian for mine, not sure about others.
There's 2 routes after 1 year:
If you are someone who travels significantly, upgrade to the CSR. If offers 3x in those categories, plus a slew of other travel related benefits and credits, and still allows point transfers (which free chase cards do not) that help maximize travel value of these points.
If you do not travel significantly then downgrade to a no annual fee card.
