Agree. Seems to be new standard price since end of January. Never had a CCC alert hit so many times as I have with these pliers bouncing around... But they are outstanding lineman's and I recommend them. Same price as standard dipped grip as well as the non-crimper/fishtape versions when they drop to this price.

Andy, these are the same padded with crimp pliers you posted in January for about same price that lasted about 2 hours.....

From the chart below, this is about $5 or so cheaper than 'low normal.'

PS: If you will notice, as in your deal posting, the 3C's does not always catch every deal that only lasts a few hours.... it did not catch your posted deal.

Edit... Oops. that was not totally true, because if I use the 3 month chart as attached, it did catch your deal.

Thanks for attaching the graphs. Each one of those drops corresponds to another email from CCC in my inbox.. haha. Each time I'm hoping it's cheaper than my purchase price and I might pick up another pair.

And they are both red.... who would have thought? ... lol

Actually, these linesman's pliers are pretty nice with the cushion grips. With at least three types of grips (the slick pvc or whatever they are, these cushioned and the insulated), I think most people complete their set with the same type.
