Extremely unhelpful, at the very least mention where you bought these parts. The power supply is apparently free? The GPU somehow you bought near MSRP, while others have to pay minimum double.

Worse still, even at these listed prices with the free power supply you're paying more than the SD. If no tax, then sure you're saving $100ish (provided everyone gets the free power supply). Which we can't know due to lack of store link.

This is probably better as a computer, than the Winix.
However, the Winix is the better option if you're looking for an air purifier.

I've had 3 Alienwares in last 5 years. Each time I swapped only to upgrade to higher tier systems. I never had an issues with any of them in and out of warranty. People do have issues with them, but saying worst brand you can buy, that's bogus.

For comparison, recently built a better PC for the same price (if you factor in tax on this Dell).

Obviously, the GPU sourcing is difficult, unsure Dell build times currently, but something worth considering since Dell OEM components are more or less terrible. You're paying an equal price as high quality parts for the convenience

I will don't understand the difference between 3060Ti and 3070. The ETH/ETC mining hashrate is identical. Is the fps different? Or TDP?
While there is a slight (5-10%) difference in overall performance, many people miss the fact that the 3070 delivers ~ 20% more fps in games that utilize ray tracing over the 3060ti.

That is why there is ~a 25% price difference between the two. If ray tracing is not a concern, then I would advise sticking to a 3060ti as the cost vs performance increase is not worth it.

I would skip anything with a Killer NIC/WiFi.

Terribly buggy, no driver support, only bloatware and fake performance boost.

Mine hasn't worked ever on my mobo, and I use a 9$ rosewill PCI card NIC as a result. Just saying.
My Dell G7 laptop also had a Killer NIC and it was complete garbage, often dropping connection or transferring at 1 percent of the link speed.

Would pay extra NOT to have a Killer NIC installed.

Has anyone tried transplanting the components of an Alienware computer into another case?

Pretty sure the mobo can't be removed from the case. At least in the past that was true.

its was made from pcpartpicker.com...

and alienware is the worst brand you can possibly buy. They sell at an outrageous price and build with the lowest quality parts that will sure to fail soon after it arrives or shortly after the warranty expires.

stay far far away

--edit--

downvote all you want I just want to save you all from a bad headache that I had to deal with when I bought an alienware

I don't game. Plan to sell this GPU and buy a cheaper one. Is there a GPU that's not overpriced?
Unfortunately even very old GPUs are marked up right now. Best to find something with integrated graphics if not gaming.

The Killer might have been the wife, but she was not onboard like the other suspects
