I bought this back in December for $50-60. The REV pretty much sucks, to put it lightly. All the tools are inside only, except for the blade, and sometimes you have to push from the back to remove them easier. Great as a gift to someone who has nothing tho.

The Style CS on the other hand, is surprisingly amazing. The scissors are the perfect size for cutting Velcro ties, zip ties, electrical tape, tags off stuff, and more. You can't always cut everything with a knife, and I can't imagine a better way to roll with a tiny pair of scissors. Fits great on a keychain. I use the big hole on the very back (not the bottle opener part) to attach it to my keychain and find it's the perfect spot for ergonomics and portability. The mini 2-in-1 flat head/phillips screwdriver is kinda whatever, but it has a built in nail file so that's cool. Bottle opener kinda sucks too, but it gets the job done. The tweezers are low-key an awesome feature for daily life.

I can recommend the CS over the PS model as well, no doubt. A lot of people just think pliers are better by default, but I'd rather have a decent pair of scissors than some tiny, meh tier pliers. I also don't feel comfortable squeezing something built like this very hard. It's also difficult to do precision work with tiny pliers when you have a pair of keys hanging off the back. You either have to deal with the keys dangling, or hold them in your palm and squeeze them as well. But, with the scissors you can just use your thumb to press down on the top, and your palm isn't needed to apply any pressure, so the keys don't matter for a quick snip. The CS also combos perfectly with a full size Skeletool to cover my lowly technician needs. The pliers on the Skeletool are sort of a great all arounder mid-size that can do everything short of replacing a proper needle nose, so just another reason to CS over PS, at least for me.

This is almost the same price as the CS by itself, I'll be picking up 1-2 more for sure and giving away the REVs.

Is that smaller CS model something that can be taken in carry-on bags on a plane? My gut tells me no, but I figured I'd ask.

EDIT: Looks like the Style PS is TSA approved but NOT the CS as it has a blade and NO size blade is allowed in carry-on anymore it seems.

Is the smaller one small enough to keep on a key chain?

Leatherman's warranty is 25 years, not lifetime.

It's small but I I think it would be a bit bigger than what you would want ideally on your keychain IMO.
