I like these compared to the pros and plus, its nice not having any inner ear pressure once youve got the hang of how they go in your ear. Battery not as good as plus though. At low volume you can hear around you but not fully. ANC is non existent it will only quiet low hums that you didnt notice were there until there gone. Hope that makes sense. I can wear these the longest out of all three for sure though
Thanks OP. Didn't buy two sets when the Buds+ had the really good deal.
Those mentioning range, maybe you have defective units. The Buds+ I got for my wife have excellent range. She'll leave her phone in the kitchen and walk about the house without reception loss. She'll even go into the basement and upstairs. It's an 1,100 sq ft house built in the 50's.
Just want to chime in as well. I have never had those problems with the pluses I have. They seem to have decent range. Used with my note 9, tab s6, and now s7+.

Cheapest I can get (with either Mystic Bronze or Mystic Blue) is $109, but... that *may* be because I already purchased the Mystic White ones a few weeks ago.
See that they only have a $55 discount for the education savings in the cart instead of the advertised $64.99 education discount from the product page?
Talk about a bait and switch/false advertising, huh?
For those who actually want to only pay out $45 + tax I'd recommend buying it through PayPal checkout and filing a PayPal dispute about the billing amount.
I supplied PayPal with screenshots of the product page where it shows that it's a lower price than what the cart and order ultimately billed me for, and then I wrote out what the corrected subtotal should have been then I applied the tax percentage that Samsung seemed to be charging me (10% for California!?)
PayPal reached out to Samsung a week ago when I first filed the dispute(s), but if Samsung doesn't reply before 10 days have past since I filed then PayPal is likely to side with me and refunding me the difference in the billing amount.
I finally disputed my billing prices with PayPal since Samsung customer service and a supervisor were useless in helping price adjust my orders to the correct amount...the supervisor even agreed that the product page was showing a lower amount but the real price was supposed to be the higher price that I was actually charged...through the conversation with that supervisor I mentioned that it seemed to be a bait and switch, or misleading at best, or false advertising and the supervisor didn't actually dispute what I was saying!?!? O.o
Not trying to be a Karen or anything but this clearly seems to be false advertising from Samsung, and I want to actually buy these things for the correct amount...heck I wouldn't be surprised if Samsung's bait & switch tactics eventually end up in a class action lawsuit! Especially with us SDers who were screwed over by them.
So it's been 10 days since I filed the billing disputes with PayPal.
Samsung never responded to PayPal, so I received the partial refunds for each of the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live that had the price discrepancies.
So if you guys want to actually get the earbuds for $45 choose the pay with PayPal option in the Samsung cart, and then dispute the billing amount later on with PayPal.
No matter what I do, it won't do more than $26 educational discount. Any tips?
Try clearing your cookies etc. or maybe try to use an incognito/private webpage?
Edit01:
I'm now seeing the bronze, white, red, and blue showing up as $87.99 with a $20 trade in selected on the product page itself with the education discount.
$87.99Current Price:
$169.99Original Price:
with eligible trade-inθ
Save $82
(Includes $26 Education Discount)
Anybody able to still get it to show up as $55 with trade in?
Edit02:
Putting any of the colors in the cart shows the pricing as $109 WITH the education discount...o.O
Maybe they're still working on changing the sale/discount prices right now?
Edit03:
Used incognito window and was able to get the earbuds to show up as $87.99 in the cart with the education discount (minus the black earbuds).
Strangely the price without trade in for every color minus black is showing up as $103.99 on the product page ($103.99-$20= $83.99).
Anyway, as of now I think that the $55 deal is dead...hopefully they bring the price down again soon.
It's a painful process , they should have just included the sleeves in the box.
I chatted and was repeatedly told I need to call 1800samsung.
I did that, on the tele prompts select mobile device and accessories option. After going through few more menus, I finally got a message saying my wait time is 1 minute.
Well I was on hold for 30 mins then someone finally answered, redirected me 2 times, then I reached an agent who offered to send the sleeves.
I had to give every detail, my name , email, full address over the phone on a bad connection, they could have just picked it up from order number but did not.
I am still not 100% sure they got my email or mailing address right as I have no confirmation email.
I called samsung back and was given a ticket number and told someone will call me with further updates.
It has been almost an hour that I am with the CS rep on text. It is waste of my time and their time. No sure why can't they include sleeve with the buds?
He is asking me to send him an image of purchase receipt, so I sent him invoice email which clearly shows all details, but he is telling me that this is not an invoice receipt when the email clearly mentions 'purchase receipt' in subject. So I had to go to my order history on samsung site to get the actual invoice which has the exact same info as the email.
Also, when you send images to 62913 they don't receive it, so they have to initiate a new conversation by sending you a text message from an actual mobile number. Even when I send him info there is not confirmation from him that he has received it. I have to keep asking him for the update. Seems like he is chatting with 10 different customers at once.

In case anyone was wondering , i never got the sleeves, nor a call back from anyone. I did not have the patience to call samsung again and just returned the buds live. They kept hurting my ears ( right more than left). Couldnt be happeir with Buds plus after i used the medium rubber fitting that does not protrude. so kept the buds plus.

Same here -----never got the sleeves and no way I'm going through the hassle again.

They will have subject lines such as:
When the product page shows that it's $45 with the trade in this is the price breakdown listed underneath the $45 price tag:
$45
with eligible trade-inθ
Save $124.99
(Includes $64.99 Education Discount)
Whereas in the cart the new $54.99 price tag has this a savings breakdown:
Trade-In Discount(s)-$20.00
Promotional Discount(s)-$40.00
Education Savings-$55.00

Anyone can get this discount?
I think that you can only use one discount program (employee, education, military, etc.) at a time, but I'm not 100% sure.
