Someone earlier in the thread mentioned an eBay seller that no longer carries them, and there's so many crap versions out there, it seems like just picking one and hoping it's good isn't likely to have good results. Any recommendations?

It was Manufactured in China, but shipped from NJ and delivered in 3 days. Setup was not quite as easy as a HM Eames would be, it took me about 90 minutes. But I have to say, I was shocked at the quality. It's damn near the exact same chair. Still buttery soft leather, molded plywood, and the same comfort as the HM model. I kept the replica and use it daily with no issues.
If you shop around and buy a quality replica, you'll forget that the HM logo is missing.
