But this however is a premium built thin and light laptop with a good quality display with a full speed 2060 vs a capped off 3060 that will probably perform very closely with with 2060 and with a crappy screen with poor response and gamut that's also much bulkier. your looking at spending at least 400-500+ hundred more for something like this with the new chips

a full speed 2060
It's not full speed. Looks like 80W: https://www.notebookcheck.net/MSI...238.0.html

Which makes sense. All the 2070 and 2080 versions are MaxQ.

What about that do you think is "same specs or better"? Worse display and keyboard, soldered ram, no webcam, 4 core 25W CPU, etc. Cheap build. Even the gaming performance sucks for a 3060.

There was the HP Omen deal which was pretty decent with a Max-q 3060 and 5600H for 1150, I havent seen anything else with a 3060 and "decent" processor and BQ.

That has been completely sold out even before you posted it. Do you have a link to any 3060 laptops you can actually buy for this price? I'm genuinely interested.

Try this: https://www.sagernotebook.com/Not...8PQ-S.html It is more expensive but is really worth it.

or you can get a barebone here: https://rjtech.com/shop/index.php...t_id=30817

one and add your own RAM and storage which is what I did by getting this one:
https://rjtech.com/shop/index.php...t_id=30823

and adding my own RAM and storage. This is much better than buying proprietary junk.
