1. Cap1 allows only 2 personal cards & 2 business cards (but a few have extra grandfathered in) & co-branded cards do not count
2. Cap1 pulls from ALL 3 bureaus at each time for each application (3 pulls per application & averages them out!)
3. need at least 720-740+ mininum FICO according to data points from last several years (but other factors such as too high balances or too many inquiries in past year can cause rejection).. do not know of this year's mininum
so if you are APPROVED; please list your FICO score that got approved
&
how many new cards you got in the past 2 years because there is rumor that Savor cards have a 5/24 rule similar to Chase (ie; must be under 5 new credit card accounts in past 24 months)
Signed up previously with the $250 offer and was instantly approved. After receiving the card and using it for a week, they restricted my card because they had to verify my income. I had to e-sign an IRS form 4506-T for them to check my 2019 tax Return. After that, it took two weeks for them to verify and remove the restriction. They seem so strict compared to other credit card companies @.@

Took about 2 minutes to apply and get approved. I was able to link the card to my existing Capital One account and get my virtual card number instantly! I have added it to my Amazon and PayPal but haven't made a purchase yet, will update you if it goes through with the virtual number. Thanks OP!
Edit: still waiting for my card, but I was able to make a purchase on Newegg yesterday using the virtual card number!
How did you get virtual number? I linked card account to my existed account but it didn't show up virtual number.

You can use your account, it is in one of the menus but the easiest way is to use the Eno capital one extension, with the extension you can create, manage and delete virtual card #, I use it all of the time.
Is there any downside to opening an account and then closing it afterwards just for the bonus?
It's negative on your credit file because it reduces your average length your accounts have been open, so if your only open it for 3-4 months, it drags your average account length down. It's not a large factor in your credit report, but it's there, and if you abuse the offers and really go nuts opening and closing credit cards, eventually the factor will impact approval decisions.
The average of credit history would have been already shortened once the new account is opened, so it does not matter whether or not the new account is closed later.

I'm grandfathered into the regular Savor card with no annual fee (4% back on dining/entertainment), and it's probably my most lucrative card since I eat out a lot. Also note that the "entertainment" category is pretty wide and usually includes items like concert tickets, bowling, and lots of other stuff.
I believe I have the 4% version of this card, and use it mainly for eating out. I've had no problems with it.
Its worth noting that the payment 'due date' has a cutoff - its something like 5 or 6pm and I actually missed it once, even though it was the same calendar day still.
I called and they forgave the late fee, but this is the only card I have that has an 'early' cutoff like this.
I signed up for this card 3 weeks ago and there was a $250 bonus at that time, you might look around for the $250 link somewhere. It may be expired now. I got my $250 credit already.
Capitol One is very conservative though so, they issue denials very easily.
I was told if u already have two capital one cards you can't get a third regardless of perfect credit.
Man people actually open that many cards in 24 months...
I open one every roughly 2 years and mainly for the 0% 12-18 month offers. Oddly enough I've never carried a balance but some kind of way subconsciously i guess it makes me feel better knowing i have 0% if i do.
I need a card with no foreign transactions fees for a trip i have coming up, so i guess this is as good as any.
To each their own. Some people like churning for rewards; this is SD after all. At this point I'm in the same boat but it's mainly because I have all the cards already. If I didn't have those cards, I would be collecting the bonuses like crazy
