The smaller Walmart Neighborhood stores count as grocery stores. The large Big Box stores do not.
www.doctorofcredit.com has all the faqs:

1. Cap1 allows only 2 personal cards & 2 business cards (but a few have extra grandfathered in) & co-branded cards do not count

2. Cap1 pulls from ALL 3 bureaus at each time for each application (3 pulls per application & averages them out!)

3. need at least 720-740+ mininum FICO according to data points from last several years (but other factors such as too high balances or too many inquiries in past year can cause rejection).. do not know of this year's mininum
so if you are APPROVED; please list your FICO score that got approved
&
how many new cards you got in the past 2 years because there is rumor that Savor cards have a 5/24 rule similar to Chase (ie; must be under 5 new credit card accounts in past 24 months)
Signed up previously with the $250 offer and was instantly approved. After receiving the card and using it for a week, they restricted my card because they had to verify my income. I had to e-sign an IRS form 4506-T for them to check my 2019 tax Return. After that, it took two weeks for them to verify and remove the restriction. They seem so strict compared to other credit card companies @.@

Can you redeem the cash as a direct deposit or check or is it towards statement balance only?

Once you spend $500 you get $200 in cashback reward and you can redeem it immediately so at month end you only need to pay $300 out of pocket

When i got this card years ago when they first started, it was 4% cash back at entertainment and food. they grandfathered me in to those rate when they went to no annual fees. I use this for all entertainment and food. Love it!

US Bank has a card Visa Altitude Go that offers 4% on food, takeout, and food delivery services. Thet also have a running promo of $200 back after $1000 spent.

1% more cash back provided than this Capital One card, but $500 more needed to be spent for the bonus. if you eat out a lot then you should hit the $1k spend bonus easily and the 1% difference more than makes up.

For those who were approved, are you able to use the card right away? Did they send over a temporary card number to use? I'm thinking about making a big purchase soon but need the card as soon as possible.

LOL, this is not a deal.
It just changed from $250 bonus to $200 recently...

"LOL" so if someone offers you $200 for basically filling out a 1 minute application, that's not a deal? Ok... "LOL"

I got $250 for the same application ....which one is better ?

So did I, the difference between you and I is I wasn't a tool about it and didn't post what you did.

The $250 is better. Can't $200 be a deal also.nod Agreed?

Yes, the US Bank Altitude Go VISA card looks very attractive!

Don't forget the annual streaming services benefit:
$15 Annual Streaming Bonus– You can get a $15 steaming credit each year after paying with your Altitude Go card for 11 consecutive calendar months of eligible streaming services. You can mix and match streaming services as long as you have a streaming charge each month.
I couldn't find the "Program Rules" for qualifying merchants on the US Bank website. This is a second-hand information source: https://dealspoints.com/us-bank-altitude-go/

Since I get 5% cash back from some of my other credit cards, I need to make sure that I keep charges for streaming services to a minimum on the Altitude Go account. Otherwise, if I exceed $31.25 $41.67 per month, I end up losing more in 5% cash back from other cards than the $15 credit is worth.

EDIT: Corrected my monthly calculation. Originally, I didn't notice that streaming services get 2X points on the Altitude Go account. I assumed that it was 1X points.

I'm confused. Walmart is a big box store
There are two varieties of Walmart stores: the ubiquitous big box Walmart Store and the smaller, less widespread Walmart Neighborhood Market.

It is more than just one minute. Specially if you have your credit on freeze for Security.

Does the previous same SavorOne Cash Rewards Credit Card ($500 bonus was ever issued before) qualify for this new $200 bonus offer?

My sister who is unemployed and has lousy credit just got a letter in the mail saying that she is "pre-qualified" for the SavorOne credit card. Meaning they will tell anyone that they are pre-qualified. Don't believe it for a minute.

I have an 800 FICO Score and got a letter in the mail with the same "pre-qualified" application and was then refused. They are a scam company regarding application approval letters. I had to tell them to stop sending me their come-on letters

I got my card in the mail, activated and started using it.

I don't see anything about it in my capital one app or on their website when I log in. Any suggestions?

Just applied, with a credit score approaching 800 and a Cap1 Platinum card I've had for over 20 years with a perfect payment record on which I'd recently paid down my entire balance, very modest income entered, and I was approved within seconds with a $5000 limit and crazy near 25% APR (after the introductory 15 month 0% rate), that I have no intention of ever having to use other than emergencies. I need to order a bunch of parts for some auto repair and restoration work I'm doing that'll easily top $500, so I should have no problem getting the $200 bonus.

I got the Savor, but now kind of wish I'd gotten the Quicksilver. Do they let you switch, or do I have to apply separately, and does my just having applied for and gotten the Savor seriously decrease my chances of now getting approved for the Quicksilver and would even trying be a bad idea in terms of my credit rating?

Btw, that 0% 15 month APR, if you're paid in full on the 15 month date, I assume you won't have to pay interest on any balances you carried during the 0% period, right?

You should have gotten an email or text that tells you how to add the new card to your account. I followed the link and it was added to my account right away.

I just applied and was approved, and got a welcome email saying that I get the $200 bonus. However there was a footnote to it that said "Existing or previous accountholders may not be eligible for this one-time bonus", the key word being "may". I guess I need to either wait for the card or call CS to find out if this applies to me. The $200 was one of the reasons I applied for the card, the others being a $0 annual fee and the 15 months of 0% APR, and I suppose the cashback.

How were you informed that you won't get the $200?

Of course with the 15 month 0% APR feature, that won't matter for some time. But it will matter.
