The smaller Walmart Neighborhood stores count as grocery stores. The large Big Box stores do not.
www.doctorofcredit.com has all the faqs:

1. Cap1 allows only 2 personal cards & 2 business cards (but a few have extra grandfathered in) & co-branded cards do not count

2. Cap1 pulls from ALL 3 bureaus at each time for each application (3 pulls per application & averages them out!)

3. need at least 720-740+ mininum FICO according to data points from last several years (but other factors such as too high balances or too many inquiries in past year can cause rejection).. do not know of this year's mininum
so if you are APPROVED; please list your FICO score that got approved
&
how many new cards you got in the past 2 years because there is rumor that Savor cards have a 5/24 rule similar to Chase (ie; must be under 5 new credit card accounts in past 24 months)
Signed up previously with the $250 offer and was instantly approved. After receiving the card and using it for a week, they restricted my card because they had to verify my income. I had to e-sign an IRS form 4506-T for them to check my 2019 tax Return. After that, it took two weeks for them to verify and remove the restriction. They seem so strict compared to other credit card companies @.@

There is no balance transfer fee? Do you know how much on average would be the approved limit with good credit.

does Capital One have a limit on how many of their own credit card that you can have?

I already have two other cards from them... just wondering if applying for a third one will be accepted?

also.... does Capital One consider Walmart and Target to be "grocery stores" for the cash back purpose? lately, I buy my groceries from those two places only.(milk, bread, eggs, cereals, vegetables, etc)
You probably already got the card or had your question answered but in case you didn't, I don't think so - I have three Capital One credit cards.

"socialists is a far-cry for income taxes and fica taxes."
that used to be true but we now have a system where the irs takes from a productive segment of the population and then transfers that wealth to other favored segments of the population. A large percentage of people in the tax system now get paid by that system versus actually paying taxes. They are paid with wealth taken from others. They file tax returns to get money , not to pay taxes.

That well could be considered socialism. Transfers of wealth from those that earn it to those that don't are one of the main features of socialism.

We have seen that with 94 million of child tax credits being delivered to one address in atlanta. We see that in their policy of paying out tax credits on multiple returns with the same ss number. We see that again with all the covid fraud and that is being funneled through the irs's system. The problem with all that is that it funnels wealth from those that create and and that would use it to create more wealth , products and services that would spread further through the whole of society and we get instead luxury cars being bought with money that was supposed to play some part in getting us through covid. It is so bad that it is affecting our economy and creating more inflation as people getting this unearned wealth are not willing to work. That is another sign that the irs has morphed more into a socialistic wealth transfer system.

No Credit One might take that slice of cake as the worst, or at least one of the worst.
Capital One at least isn't predatory, offering predatory rates with super high annual fees that they take out monthly, and out all at once for the first year, because they don't think you're going to pay it back, and offer no percent off or other incentives without incredibly high annual fees like $195 for a 2% card.

Capital One sucks yes, it sucks to take that 3x hard inquiry any time you want one of their cards, but they're certainly not the worst bank/company.

Credit One focuses on people with bad credit. The most vulnerable.

got a 10k line in an instant, I'm calling them to lower it to 5k, more than enough. it's good to keep the ratio to debt/income low, even if not spent the amount you're able to get into a giant hole is just a few clicks away at the online casinos or other whathaveyou's

Took about 2 minutes to apply and get approved. I was able to link the card to my existing Capital One account and get my virtual card number instantly! I have added it to my Amazon and PayPal but haven't made a purchase yet, will update you if it goes through with the virtual number. Thanks OP!

Edit: still waiting for my card, but I was able to make a purchase on Newegg yesterday using the virtual card number!
Do you have credit lock or unlock when you applied for the savor one card

I selected other and put domestic engineer Wink like others, I got approved instantly and it appeared in my existing capital one account. was able to use the virtual card number and made a purchase on Walmart.com. transaction is still pending, so hopefully I'll see the $200 cash back soon, as well.

I signed up for this back in January. The promo said $200 but I actually got $250 which was a pleasant surprise. 3% Cash back on groceries and dining is great. It also isn't advertised anywhere but I put my Comcast internet bill on it and also get 3% back as well (category is Phone/Cable). For other purchase I use different cards that give 2%, this card only gives 1% on most other categories.

While not for everybody unless you shop for a family, check the Amex blue cash preferred. It gives 6% for groceries and streaming services. It has an annual fee, so unless you shop a lot at grocery stores and have multiple streaming services it may not be worth it for you. I have the savor too, but my primary use for it is the restaurant reward.

We have a streaming service addiction, that's why the Amex is a better deal for me, the 6% groceries it gives is just a bonus.
