1. Cap1 allows only 2 personal cards & 2 business cards (but a few have extra grandfathered in) & co-branded cards do not count
2. Cap1 pulls from ALL 3 bureaus at each time for each application (3 pulls per application & averages them out!)
3. need at least 720-740+ mininum FICO according to data points from last several years (but other factors such as too high balances or too many inquiries in past year can cause rejection).. do not know of this year's mininum
so if you are APPROVED; please list your FICO score that got approved
&
how many new cards you got in the past 2 years because there is rumor that Savor cards have a 5/24 rule similar to Chase (ie; must be under 5 new credit card accounts in past 24 months)
Signed up previously with the $250 offer and was instantly approved. After receiving the card and using it for a week, they restricted my card because they had to verify my income. I had to e-sign an IRS form 4506-T for them to check my 2019 tax Return. After that, it took two weeks for them to verify and remove the restriction. They seem so strict compared to other credit card companies @.@

I've always avoided Capital One for some unknown reason, not sure what I've based it on, but I gave in and signed up for this card because of the $200 "carrot on a stick" offer, and also for the 3% dining bonus. I regret opening this account because I did so a week after I moved, which led their fraud dept to flag my account because of the address mismatch, then I had to provide multiple proofs of residency but they don't accept retirement accounts, stock accounts, or other credit card bills. This whole journey has taken over a month of time in which I've already made most of my new home purchases which I planned to put on my Capital One to get the $200. Finally got an updated bank statement reflecting my new address and I'm still waiting to be get my account cleared to be able to make my first purchase (been waiting over two weeks now for them to approve my latest proofs of residency). tl;dr I wish I went with Citi Custom Cash card instead, could've got $200 and 5% on dining...
edit: forgot to mention the issues with creating an online account because my cell phone is under business account so it doesn't match my name
You can earn $150 per referral if someone uses the referral link they give you to apply. PM me to use my referral link and we can split the $150. easy money just with one click. already did it with a slickdeals member who can vouch for me.
Beware. They have 2 Savor One cards and one has the promo and the other doesn't. Make sure you apply the right one otherwise they will not honor the $200 promotion.
Is there any downside to opening an account and then closing it afterwards just for the bonus?
Yes your credit will be hit and your account credit score will be effected. People who do credit
card churning like myself, open new accounts every few months but never cancel the
credit cards. If you have multiple credit cards like say capital one, you move the credit amount
to the oldest account. So you cancel the card itself but maintain the credit on your oldest card to establish credit.
So the end result is that in the long run you will have the oldest credit card with a high credit limit but never cancel
your card!

Not true. I have 3 cap1 cards, menards, and walmart.

So you mean you mean we can move credit from other cc of same bank to old cc and close the other two without hitting the credit score?
When a question is asked you shouldn't answer unless you have something definitive. Responding with an assumption is a waste of everyone's time.
Assumptions are not a waste of time if an assumption is based upon other known facts and relevant experiences. I assume you will stop at your red light while I drive through my green light.

I was able to set up my online account and access the card number the day I was approved. So not exactly instant but you can get the number same-day.

that's what I was afraid of....
that service counts as groceries.
