Hmmmm the 10% off code didn't work for me it shows an exclamation mark next to the code saying it won't work on sale items.... Lame

same here.... please let me know how to get that 10% off coupon. Thanks.
after maybe a minute of idle screen time an offer within the window appeared for 10% off when subscribing to the mailing list. I got the code via email a minute or two after. If you're not getting it try with a different browser or maybe mess with your pop-up settings. good luck!

does anyone know if there's a contactless thermometer that's extremely accurate for measuring liquids or shinny reflective metallic objects?

thanks!

contactless thermometer never works well on shinny objects however you can use their emissivity table to calibrate your thermometer.

I have the 10% coupon from popup via email. When I tried to checkout it says the coupon code is not valid for items in the cart...y'all are pulling off some wizardry.

Tried from browser and mobile, still won't work.

Thanks! To anyone else with the same issue - I opened the site in incognito and the promo offer popped up almost immediately. It must've been one of my extensions blocking it.
And it applied to the sale cart just fine.

Update: Just noticed this has already been posted. I misspelled Thermapen as Thermopen on my original search. Trying to delete post.

ThermoWorks is having a color closeout on the Thermapen Mk4. It's $69.99 until sold out. I have been looking for a new temp probe for grilling, and this model is often at the top of peoples list. I think shipping to the US is $5.

Own it, love it.
I have no brand/seller affiliation, just satisfied customer.

But this once instead of knock offs every year or two.
If this is too steep, wait for their thermopop to go on sale, it's 90% as good for 50% of the price.

Why would I need this 100 version when they sell this version for 33.00? They show it taking meat temps in photos so I assume it would work just as well. Just curious Other than fold-ability I can't see the advantage.

I think that's a solid point. The read time is about 1-2 seconds slower on this cheaper one but still much faster than the $10 knock offs. Other than that specs look about the same.

I never got the pop up either. Maybe my Pi-hole blocked it? I ordered it before I knew there was a possible 10% discount. It said "while supplies last" and it worked, I rushed to the checkout.

I guess too many people used the coupon and they closed the loophole. Can't get it to work either and they want to charge $5 shipping. Glad I already own one..

The smaller probe means you have to get closer to the heat source. My hands have lost most of their feeling so I could pull it off, but most people who don't spend hours behind BBQ pits or hot indoor ovens would be tortured to use something that small. It is also slower to get an accurate reading. 2 seconds doesn't seem like much, but it can be awful (I have the Thermopop because, like you, I wanted to save money. I never use it when this pen is available).

Furthermore, for everyone else, this is **THE** luxury thermometer to buy. It's the Wusthof Chef knife, the Porsche 911, the Tempurpedic, Herman Miller, whatever analogy you can think of. Yes, there are knockoffs for cheaper, but this is the cream of the crop.

Turn on your TV or streaming service and flip to any cooking, baking, or BBQ competition. Check which brand of thermometer they use. You can bet your hat it'll be this very thermometer 95% of the time. People who are competing for **thousands**, 10s of thousands, hundreds of thousands of dollars are putting their faith in the accuracy and speed of the Thermoworks. There's a reason they aren't buying the Home Depot 14 dollar bullshit special.

Once you use one, you'll instantly understand why the other side lives the way they live. If you like to cook with precision, this is the absolute best option bar none.

Oh, and if standing at a grill with a purple thermometer is gonna make you or your friends question your masculinity— I simply can't imagine how fragile it must already be. Grow up and join us in the 21st century. Leave your father's boomer homophobia behind and start living like a modern adult.
