Do not buy steel series. I had an issue with the headset not charging and customer service did not respond to my RMA request. Highly discourage you to buy any steel series headset.

Do not buy any of the steelseries 7 line.... there are tons of people with headphone joints just snapping, and steelseries refusing to do warranty returns, amongst other horror stories, like yours of RMAs never getting issued, or lack of response at all, etc.

I concur that their CS is about as bad as it gets. That said I got a 7x at walmart this week at retail (after finally getting a refund from SS who never got it shipped after ordering 2/24) and it's super comfy and sounds amazing.

I bought a SteelSeries product in November. Not only did they ship me a used product when I had purchased new, but the product just plain did not work AND their support refused to set up a return.

It turned out fine since I took pictures of the product packing when it arrived and I got a refund through PayPal protection. But I would be vary careful ordering from SteelSteries.

Steel Series Arctis 7X are the best headset I own. Love the design. Super comfortable. Feels like you have nothing on your head, and sounds very good (not as good as my Drop PC38X but those make my head hurt after an hour of use due to clamp force).

I have an Arctis 7 for 1.5 years and it is a great headset. I use it 4 to 8 hours each night and have had zero issues. I charge it each night so I am unsure if has 20+ hours but I am well pleased. I have used the mic in Discord and people say I sound ok. The only issue I have is that it is a bit tight but I have a large head.
