I use a foaming soap dispenser from a previously used/cheap foaming soap. I fill about 1/3 with soap and 2/3 with water - shake and - poof - foaming soap.

I ordered 3 of the Basil which was ~$20 before coupon and S&S and ~$15 after but I somehow got free shipping. I don't have Prime. Not sure how that happened.

I would love to know what dispenser you are supposed to use for this soap. What happens to me is the residual soap dries and forms a hard layer and when you pump soap out, it shoots like a stream across the room (usually onto the person pumping) Am I doing something wrong? I love the soap, but can't deal with the mess..

I think Subscribe and Save waives the shipping charge whether or not you have prime?

Try pumping warm water through before refills? Might break it down some. Good to know because my wife likes this soap too and getting a big refill sounds like a much better deal than the usual bottles.

Because of the pandemic I've tried a bunch of hand soaps. These are maybe my least favorite due to the consistency of the soap (watery) and the bottle design (inconvenient). The pointless handle makes it very difficult to get all the soap out, the hole size almost guarantees you lose some when you pour, and it's impossible to stand it up to drain into a bottle because of the asymmetrical design.

The honeysuckle scent is great though. V

I've now just occasionally buy those smaller multipack of hand soap from Costco. I'll just use one bottle until it's done..then use this bottle for refills until it clogs...then move to the next new bottle.

I do the warm/hot water rinse thing in between refills.. I also just "make" my own foaming soap with these soap since the wife likes foaming soap better (basically 1:1 to 1:2 soap to water ratio).

I don't mind the smell of the Basil version, but I'd choose a different smell if the price is the same as others. If you read the reviews for Basil, quite a few do not like it.
