Yes, I guess it's all a matter of perspective on "deals." I view "hackable" as a negative, i.e. to me it is an unethical behavior even if it is not technically fraud or a crime. I'm sure I will get an "unhelpful" vote just because I said that.

I do enjoy buying lots of SlickDeals deals from this site including many from HD. And there are plenty of deals even without "hacking."

P.S. for this deal I did NOT give it a TU or a TD. I'll just be neutral.

Pretty good deal - although you can find this for $260/270 when they throw in the free tool instead of battery.

Not positive why but I would think it's because this "hackable" deal has been posted a dozen times by now, and it really isn't a hack at this point as it's been like this for months now

You will need to have both the tool set and extra battery in your cart as different line items.

Both items will need to be purchased. I do store pickup for the toolkit and ship to home for the battery.

After you check out you will need to cancel the battery immediately. You will keep savings for tool kit.

Because this kit was hackable to $266 for most of Q4 and it was hackable to $240 a couple weeks ago.

I believe so. I have never done it that way, but if you keep your receipt then I'm guessing there shouldn't be an issue
