The same bulb is going for $9.95 on Amazon ( https://www.amazon.com/FEIT-OM60-...07GG98VV2/ ). With this deal, you get a pack of 4 for a final price of $19.99 ($39.99 - $20) plus tax. Note that shipping is free (at least for my order).
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I appreciate you sharing this deal, and I don't mean to threadcrap, but I dislike this product - a lot. In fact, I have over $30,000 worth of smart home products [google.com], and this is likely the worst one from a name brand.

Approximately 2 to 3 times a month, the light bulbs will disconnect from the WiFi for seemingly no reason. When that happens, I need to go into the app and re-add the bulbs. The process doesn't take long - if it works smoothly, I can do it within 2 minutes, but sometimes the bulbs don't add right away and can take up to 6 minutes. The issue is that when the bulbs disconnect, they change to their default color of warm white and flash nonstop. Imagine having a guest or family member in the bathroom and having the light bulbs flash, and the person's only option is to turn off the lights completely or live with it until the person finishes his or her business. Because I'm the only person with the app, only I can add the bulbs back to the app.

I use Lutron Caseta smart switches in virtually every room in my house other than the bathroom, where I use these Feit light bulbs because a smart switch could not be installed. I'll be getting rid of these lights soon and will likely not consider Feit smart products for a long while.

Update: Okay, it looks like lots of other people in this thread also noted that this product has a tendency to disconnect and flash, so I don't feel as bad about the negative feedback I provided.

I hope this helps and isn't too mean! Take care,
Tofu Vic
My parents have had these for the last two years. They work well and they use them on the front porch (set as a timer) to turn on each night and it's still working even though it's partially exposed to the elements. They also have two in their bed lamps but sometimes find them annoying cause they'll occasionally reset if they get unplugged.
These aren't great. I've bought 6 of them, and 4 of them went bad within a few months. Returned them to Costco and they just threw up with all the other bulbs (apparently I'm not the only one). The app is clunky at best. If the bulb loses its connection/unpairs itself, it goes to 100% bright and starts flashing every second (not a great way to wake up). I'd stay away, stick with hue

if they reset they don't maintain their programming? Or what happens when they get unplugged?

Basically my parents have to open the app, click "add device", find the device and then the device remembers the wifi network, google assistant settings, etc. Otherwise it just flashes on and off every second in pairing mode. It happens when they sometimes unplug the light when vacuuming or manually turn off the light (though not each time). I just know they call me to help them set it up for them again each time even though I'm in California and they're in Kansas haha. It's about an every-other-month occurrence.

That said, these are still an excellent deal and I voted them up.

I hope they fixed their bulbs, I have 3 Feit smart bulb packages from Costco 2 years ago I think. All of them except maybe 2 bulbs of the handfuls just sit there and flashes. No way to reconnect to them.

Have had them for about 5 months now with no issues connecting or disconnecting. They were 9.99 for a 2 pack in stores for a while. The only drawback is they don't get very bright for color settings. For daylight color they can get pretty bright. .Feit app is fine, a minor delay sometimes, but I set up a couple on smart life app where I have everything else set up. Also have 2 outside thru Chicago winter and they worked fine every day on a schedule with Alexa routine. Overall they're recommendable at this price.

$5 a bulb is pretty steep. you are better off stocking up on the controllers. You can often get a controller for $5.

These allow you to change the color.

I had 4, but 1 was bad immediately out of the package. I returned that 2-pack to Costco. The other 2 have been working fine for 2 years. If you buy them, make sure it's an easy return for any duds you may get.

I've had 6 of these and after 5 years only 1 has gone bad. I'm ok with that.

When that 1 went bad I ordered this set a few days ago. This has been this price for at least a week. Great deal for smart color changing bulbs that work with Google for $5/ea

Whenever Tofy Vic speaks, I listen. And I also agree here - these are a garbage product. Spend the extra money on Phillips Hue and dont stress yourself out going forward.
