I've had the blue one for about a month or so and I like it very much. The track pad is garbage, otherwise I don't have much to complain about. Oh, the power button is where "delete" goes so expect to punk yourself a few times.

I like the feel of it, the metal feeling lid helps it not feel super cheap.

I use it for prepping 3d models for my printer, and it's very good at what I ask it to do.

BTW it does charge via USB c despite it saying data only.

It's completely worthless because of no GPU. Your $80 smartphone can do everything this laptop can do. So no, don't buy any laptop unless it has a dedicated GPU.
It has a GPU. Integrated graphics on modern processors is a GPU. You do not know what you are talking about.

Ex.: One of the top mobile phone GPUs is the Adreno 680 which marks 329 on Passmark G3D, while Intel UHD (10th gen) marks 1844, and the cruddiest 2017 UHD 600 marks 333. It sounds like you are thinking of Intel GMA (mark <32), which is the on-board graphics of last decade's netbooks and desktop motherboards.

Seems pretty comparable to the Motile laptops that were the hot ticket last year. 16gb RAM is a plus. If you don't need it immediately, wait for the refurbs to show up on ebay for $249 or less later this year.

For anyone doubting, I ran some decent games like Snowrunner and Hitman 3 on the Motile with similar specs. Have reasonable expectations and you'll likely be very happy.

I purchased another laptop yesterday. Should I cancel that order and get this deal?

Here is the one I order yesterday:

Thanks. I've used laptops exclusively for over a dozen years and I've never come across a good trackpad.

Eventually, I started using wireless mice and never looked back.

I know exactly what I'm talking about. The integrated graphics on this laptop put out the same processing power an $80 smartphone playing Call of Duty Mobile does...

Yet this laptop can't run Call of Duty Ghosts.. which is from 2013.
It can run gta5 just fine.

The games you're comparing aren't even the same. Android or iOS aren't the same, let alone to compare to Windows.

Even if they were apples to apples, using a game as the sole measuring stick doesn't make sense.

I've had the blue 14in for a while. It's a value laptop. If you can't understand that, feel free to spend more.

My observations:
Charges via USB-C pretty fast depending on your charger.
Foresee is SSD, not NVMe.
I put a NVMe into 2nd slot, no go. Put it into primary - works fine. Put Foresee into 2nd slot, works fine/both at same time.
No 4k via HDMI, only 1080P. At 4k it detects but won't send display.
Fan is kind of loud. I'm ok w/that b/c my work laptop is a freaking jet engine Frown

It's not for gaming.. 350$ not 700$ ryzen 5 16gb NOT A BAD PRICE if you don't want one move on. If they don't like it I'm sure there is a return option. Most people that want to play game buy ps4,Xbox,Nintendo, GAMING laptop/Desktop

Ryzen 5 3450u (slightly slower speed compare to its bigger brother R5 3500u) is a Zen+ processor.

CPU wise, it's comparable to i5-8250u (Intel skipped the 9000 "u" series and have multiple architecture in their 10th gen - confuse the heck out of everyone).

GPU wise, it is comparable to nVidia MX150 dGPU. It should be able to handle games @ 1080p at lowest settings (or low to med @ 720p).

Thanks for sharing this info with us. I also tried to install an NVME only SSD into the 2nd M.2 slot but it did not work.

Does anyone know how to bring up the boot menu and BIOS? I tried many common functional keys F12/F10/F2 etc but none of them works to bring up the boot menu.
